George Harvey

George's musical journey began at the tender age of 10, when he witnessed the Beatles perform on the legendary Ed Sullivan show. Instantly captivated by the rhythm of the drums, he tried out for his school band, but since they lacked a bass player, he embraced the drums instead. His passion for music only grew stronger from there. He played every instrument he could get his hands on, from jazz to orchestral and marching bands. In the eighth grade, he joined a rock band, and from then on, he's been a dedicated member of various bands. After a musical pilgrimage from Nashville to the West Coast, George finally settled in LA in 1980. But, life took a different turn, and he stopped playing music for 16 long years until his renaissance in 2012. It was around 2016 when George met Art and Carla. Although he was initially unsure, Carla's bulldog-like determination to book gigs for their band made him see the light. George knew he had to quit his other bands and put his all into Carla D & The B-Side.
